Taylors Training offers DVSA accredited training for drivers who want to gain a Category C licence. This is the licence that is held by most LGV drivers in the UK. It qualifies drivers to operate vehicles including tipper trucks, refuse lorries, articulated lorries and box trucks.
Taylors Training offers DVSA accredited training for drivers who want to gain a Category C+E licence. This is the highest of the LGV licence classes. Only drivers that obtain this standard can operate the largest and heaviest HGV and construction equipment on the road.
Initial Driver CPC (Mod. 2 & 4)
To work as a Professional Driver you must complete Driver CPC and carry your Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
For first time holders of a DQC or for newly qualified drivers this is called INITIAL DRIVER CPC and is taken in two parts: Case Study Theory Test (Module 2) and Practical Demonstration Test (Module 4)
Transport Managers CPC
The Certificate of Professional Competence (Road Haulage) is divided into two assessments - Multiple Choice and Case Study.
The case study examination take place quarterly in March, June, September and December.
Drivers Certificate of
Taylors Driver CPC courses are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of all professional LGV & PCV drivers. Statistics show that 75% of Driver Qualification Card holders are still to complete their 35 hrs CPC training before the Sept 2019 deadline.

ADR driver training is specialist training equipping drivers with the skill and knowledge to transport hazardous goods by road. All drivers carrying dangerous goods within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations require a Driver Training Certificate issued by the DVLA.
Forklifts come in many shapes and sizes, and to safely use one within a working environment requires training and qualifications. Our accredited Forklift training covers counterbalance, reach trucks over 8 metres lift and pivot steer forklift training.
Vehicle Mounted Offloading
The vehicle mounted fork-lift truck (aka Moffett) and the truck mounted crane (aka Hiab) are specialist equipment mounted to vehicles and used for offloading when accessibility is a challenge. They require specialist training so operators and others remain safe.
